Nurse's Corner
The aim of Marcial A.Sablan Elementary School Health Program is to help each student achieve and maintain optimum physical, emotional and social fitness. Our school health care includes health education/ counseling, health screening like BMI, vision and hearing screening, and first aid care that is given to students who are sick and injured at school.
Any student with injury or illness that prohibits him/ her from functioning in class will be sent home. I will be contacting the parents/ guardian if should that happen. It is important that the students emergency card should be updated. Please be sure to provide us with as many contact numbers in the event we need to contact you.
Should your child be carrying or be in contact with a communicable disease, please report it to me right away. After any absence caused by a communicable disease, an excuse slip signed by your physician is required.
Prescribed medication can be given to the student only after a parent signs a consent form.
Chronic health problem or physical disability should be discussed with me, the teacher and school principal to ensure that the most appropriate learning program be provided for the child.
If you have any queries or concerns, please feel free to see or call me at 565-2238 ext 5906.
